Dharma Rain Zen Center - Summer Sesshin
Summer Zen Retreat
Genzo-e — Absorbing the Ocean
Enjoy the spaciousness of summer?
Would you like to delve deeper into that
spaciousness?
Please join us July 24-29, 2012, as we explore the arising and vanishing of
the elements of self within the context of an intensive formal retreat schedule.
We can see
the elements of our self more clearly when our intention is supported by wholesome
community, schedule, and practices. This retreat will cultivate your relationship
to meditation and challenge your conception of self using Dogen’s Shobogenzo fascicle “Kai-in
Zanmai” (Ocean-Seal Samadhi).
Dawn and evening sittings
are open for drop in (see schedule below).
Part time registration is available; however, part-time retreatants
must sign up for
at least 6 meals (or weekend package). If you sign up for the entire retreat, you may
come either Monday evening to the Dharma House or Tuesday morning to the Zendo.
Please note on the registration form which you will do.
Pre-registration is
required, and registration will be closed after Wednesday, July
18.
If you have questions, contact the
Center.
